Our Journey Toward Greater Diversity
Acknowledging the challenges and learning curves in building a diverse community, we remain steadfast in our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We recognize the importance of economic, gender, racial, cultural, religious, and neurodiversity and are taking deliberate steps to welcome more diverse voices and experiences into our fold.

What We're Doing
To bridge the gaps and build a truly inclusive environment, we are actively working on several fronts:
Prioritizing families and individuals from historically underrepresented groups (QTBIPOC) for our few remaining units, acknowledging the unique perspectives and richness they bring to our community.
Engaging with experts and resources to deepen our understanding and practices around diversity and inclusion. This includes participating in workshops on neurodiversity and transgender cultural fluency, nonviolent communication, and consulting diversity experts to guide our journey.
Using the new understandings from experts and expert-led trainings to formalize a diversity, equity, and inclusion policy.
Learning from our community and beyond, embracing the wisdom of those who have navigated similar paths, to ensure our efforts are informed, respectful, and effective.
