We know it takes a village, so we're creating one.
Imagine living on the edge of a cottonwood forest bordering the beautiful Rio Grande River, where porcupines nestle in treetops and sandhill cranes make long, dramatic landings.
Imagine living in a community that's built on shared values with an established culture of trust, care and fun, where kids can roam free with their friends and adults get to connect more deeply and have fun together, too.
Imagine doing all this in Albuquerque, NM, a perfectly small city with culture, history and great access to breathtaking nature—living more sustainably and joyfully, together.
This is Cohousing ABQ. We hope you will join us!

Live Sustainably in the Land of Enchantment
We’re breaking ground in 2022 on 27 beautiful, energy-efficient homes clustered around a shared open space. Our plans include a fully equipped common house and a range of community amenities — a farm, an orchard, EV charging and more. Home prices range from $270,000 to $700,000.
Our community includes families with children, multigenerational families, couples and singles from across the country and around the world. We have supported one another throughout the pandemic and before, creating a culture of trust, fun and care even before construction is complete. We're looking for a few more families to join us!

Our Community Plans
Our land is on a quiet road with lots of families and kids, right next to the Rio Grande River and Bosque trails. The neighborhood’s agricultural roots give it a rural feel, but the center of town is just a 3-minute drive away.
There’s lots to keep us busy here in Albuquerque, from museums and live music to nationally recognized restaurants and breweries. With 310 sunny days per year, you can often find us outside, enjoying local trails, mountains, historic sites and more.
